Round Robin #1
The Round Robin structure was the same as the past few Slams, including the previous Street Fighter Slam; there are two separate Round Robin events where each team plays each other team, and 3 points are awarded for a win on Day 1, and 5 points for a win on Day 2. However, because there are eight teams instead of six, the Round Robin days involve more matches and the total points will be a little higher than before.
Team ChrisCCH was the clear leader after the first Round Robin, going 24-11 in sets for 72 points, while the next closest teams (Team Riddles and Team JAK) had only 19 set wins. Bricky, Scarra, and KarQ all put in strong records in the first three tiers for Team ChrisCCH, giving them good separation over the field.

Round Robin #2
Team ChrisCCH continued their strong performance in Round Robin 2, finishing the day 22-13 in sets for 110 points. However, the day was much closer, as each of Team Brian_F, Team Riddles and Team ElChakotay went 20-15 to keep the scores close. Team ChrisCCH earned the top seed with 182 total points across both Round Robin days. However, because there are eight teams compared to six in past Slams, no byes will be given on Finals day, so all teams have to win the same amount of matches to earn the title.

Finals
The finals were structured as a double elimination bracket, with the top two seeds (Team ElChakotay and Team Diaphone) earning byes past the first round. The top two teams would earn a trip to Japan in March, qualifying for the REJECT FIGHT NIGHT × Sajam Slam Championship, so the losers final match (determining the third place finisher) felt like the real grand finals in many ways.
Team ElChakotay and Team Diaphone made it to winners finals, with the winner of this match securing a top 2 finish. Diaphone's team jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, but clutch wins from ElChakotay's Robbie Rotten and Koefficient brought it to a 2-2 tie, forcing it to a coach's match. Diaphone locked in and took it over the reigning Combo Breaker champion to earn his team one of the qualifier spots.
In the losers final match, ElChakotay faced off against previous Slam winner and Capcom Cup qualified Nephew for the remaining spot. With ElChakotay's team up 2-1, Team Nephew's Eskay clutched out a close 2-1 set against Koefficient to once again set up a coach's match, where Nephew defeated ElChakotay 2-0 to earn the second qualifier spot. In the grand finals, Team Diaphone defeated Team Nephew 3-1 to become your Sajam Slam #4 champions!
